The 15th of April the Galleria Nazionale d'Arte Moderna e Contemporanea in Rome presents the exhibition "Impronte dell'arte 2RC 1963-2018" curated by Achille Bonito Oliva, which traces the experience of the historic Roman print shop 2RC of Valter and Eleonora Rossi, fundamental for the history of graphics and engraving, not only in Italy.

A selection of 90 matrix plates and 45 graphic works, produced over 60 years, testifies the precious and intense collaboration of 2RC with important Italian and international artists.

With Impronte dell’Arte, the National Gallery pays renewed attention to the uniqueness of the graphic work, through an unpredicted exhibition project in its objective to illustrate what remains in the engraving process, an art form that develops with times and movements that are proper to it. The creative process is laid bare in the transition to the end of the print, resulting in a universe of choices that translate into the sign.
